spark plugs for blower

RE: spark plugs for blower
The best plug for your application is the Lightning plug. Motorcraft AWSF-12C It is 2 heat ranges colder , however the NGK V-groove plugs are even better because you will be able to run your gap closer to factory specs without detonation. The bigger the gap the hotter and cleaner you will burn but detonation is a problem. With the V-groove plugs they have a smaller surface area than reg. plugs and power travels over the path with least resistance. You will be able to maintain close to factory gap of .040"-045" range with a 2 step colder NGK 7e plug, ultimately that is what you want
I would run S/C applications always 2 steps colder with a 180 therm.
I would run Nitrous applications 1 step colder with a TR-6e plug gapped at .030-.035"
The nitrous cannot use 2 steps colder without sacrificing driveability. They will run rich and sacrifice lots of power, unless you run the track or keep your foot to the floor and do mostly highway!. The S/C'ers are running the boost pretty much all the time even if you don't get on it, so it will burn the fuel it's given.
It's always wise to start with the coldest plug possible and start the gap out at .030" Then you want to bring the gap up in .005" increments until you get to .040" Then you step up to a warmer plug if your car is running rich and start out at .030" and do the same.
I reccomend using a WIRE gapper and not those Cheesy half dollar looking things! They suck!
