Just find a wiring diagram for your ecu and find one of the wires for the one of the 02 sensors.Tap into it. Done.

Where can I find a wiring diagram you say? Haynes manual at any parts store. Or I'm sure searching online would find it as well.

Or, read the instructions that you admitted to having but not reading.

I actually haven't look at this yet, because I've been on dialup and I'm sure it'll take ages to load, but at the top of the forum theres a sticky for an online repair manual. The webadress it links to is http://arrc.epnet.com/autoasp/index....ain.autorefctr

Maybe they have the wiring diagram in there. I haven't look yet so I don't know. Good luck.

One of the wires is gray/light blue and one of the wires is red/black. They are both on the ECU plug it think the gray/light blue wire is like pin 64.

no not f/i yet but some guy had it for dirt cheap new and i was told my car was running rich so i decided to just get it.
the three wires are violet black and red
the instructions have three ways of doing it for three different type of 02 sensors. what 02 sensor do i tap into cuz im guessing u tap into it under the car right or in the ecu

Don't tap into the 02 itself. Go to the ECU behind the passeenger kick panel and take the wire harness off the comp. Your violet wire from the gauge needs to go to either the gray/light blue stripe wire or the red/black stripe wire. The gauge will not really give you any great indication of what is going on. It will basically bounce back and forth which is said to be normal because the computer is trying to keep the mixture stoich. Search for an air/fuel thread I started a month or so ago and you can find the exact pin numbers on the harness.
