I'll settle this. Whether or not it affects the throwout bearing, or burns up the clutch, or whatever else, doesn't really matter. It's gonna eventually affect some aspect of your clutch, and there's no reason to do it.Don't rest your foot on the clutch because it's just dumb to do so. There's a reason they put a dead pedal in cars, and this is it.

I would rest my foot on it alot,so i can make the escuse to get a new clutch....and our stangs our known for bad TOBs anyways, so you dont know if its from the car or from you.....none of you guys know what ur talking about...I know everythig.....***goes to google***...but seriously chill out guys.
