UMMM, NO! I have never heard anything like that! Maybe they claim 12horses or balpark area but that accumulates to say 6hp to the wheels, but that's max output with a supercharger or blown applications! You won't see anything other than better throttle response on the take-off with an otherwise stock or mildly bolted on 4.6. Accufab is ridiculously expensive. Get yourself a C&L plenum and a BBK or some 70mm T/B. The non-pi cars will not benifit in some cases are degraded by the 75mm larger t/b's. You will also need an aftermarket CAI kit to accomodate the larger hole in the T/B! I wouldn't waste your money. I have many mods and they aren't it!!! I have stock T/B +Plenum. Take that money and get a catback or free flowing midpipe. They will do more than the t/b any day of the week

i know i guy that owns a shop and dynoed thecar before and after every mod he put on and he didnt even see 4 rear wheel horsepower combined with a 75MM TB and plenum. i deff scratched that off the list and added long tubes and 4.10's. i suggest you do the same.

if ANYTHING, you might get lucky and feel a little better throttle response, keep saving, go with the pi intake-only swap if the whole pi swap isnt "possible" for a while.......

a kid in my class just did a tb and plenum with underdrives on his car and we "felt" a differance. i dont know if there really is one. but all the bad hype about rpm outlet i just orded a tb plenum and underdrive pulleys from them and had NO PROBLEM with them. got all for 360 shipped. c and l plenum, 75mm pp tb, and motoblue underdrive pulleys. customer responce was awsome. actully talked to someone everytime i called.and got an email back no prob.

go 75mm when you go do it

I felt better throttle response and the intake sound was louder. Not sure if I gained any power but the new sound and response was welcomed.
