He can disconnect the battery to clear the code. Then hope it does'nt come on.

if it is 3 engine starts, is that start-drive for a while...then start-drive...or just start, shutoff, start shutoff and so on

so its that easy to beat emissions? on a 98 gt, if all they do is the OBD II test...just disconnect the battery a block away from the station, and hope it dont come on till there done?
