Default bad mil's?

so im pretty sure my mil's are bad, but just wanted to find out for sure before i start ordering parts. i just installed my o/r x with mil's (both used) yesterday, and after a few hours the service light came on. i checked the mil's this morning and all the connections seem to be fine. there's a red indicator light on the mil and when the car is started the red light blinks. i'm going to autozone this afternoon to get my codes cleared, but does this mean the mil's are running properly or they aren't working at all? thanks

I've never heard of a red light on a mil eliminatorbut those things are never reliable.. I boughta set and they worked fine for about 6 months then just died.. The only real way to solve the problem is to get a tuner and turn the rear 02's off with that... You can try another set of mil eliminators but you run the risk of them working for a while they crap'n out on you again.

anyone know anything about this blinking red light on my mil's??? and for future reference, do "cheap" tuners exist, or basic ones that have less features for less?

this is the 1st time i've heard of an LED on mil's too, but i'm sure they're most likely the problem. still get the codes pulled though

just got the codes cleared and it was the rear o2 sensor bank 1 and air ful meter, im guessing that was just because of the o2 sensor. light hasn't come on and i drove it for about an hour so hopefully it doesn't come back on...the guy at autozone said if you disconnect the + connection on the battery the codes will clear, is this true? thanks

yes, if you disconnect it for a few minutes it'll resetthe KAM, but everyone usually disconnects the negative terminal instead

so if you disconnect/reconnect your battery how long will the SES light be off for?
