+1

Just took mine off. I'm shocked to admit that it made a difference.

In my opinion intake mods on a non supercharged sohc 4.6 are a waste of money. Save your money and get stuff that really will help you. Like gears, suspension and exhaust. The intake makes a little sound difference(hardly noticeable) but thats about it.If you do intake, plenum, throttle body you will maybe see 5 to 7 horsepower, for about 6or7 hundred dollars. That doesnt sound like a good buy to me.

Or just do like me and find a throttle body/plenum for sale on a forum and pick it up for a fraction of the cost of new.

I have the JLT RAI (My car is pictured with it on am's website, its the red car), and personally I love it. No, I didnt really "feel" any huge hp gains, but I still am glad I bought it. I think it really cleans up the appearance of the engine (the stock tube IMO looks like dookie).

Yeah, I will say that the appearance alone is worth some money. But to buy an intake simply because your expecting gains that the manufacturers claim is ludicrous.
