ok so about a week ago my 4.6 blew out of my 96 gt, i pulled it and found that i had an oil leak from the back plate by the bell housing. i also noticed that i had alot of sand in my motor, very weird and i am not exactly sure waht to do when i rebuild it. i was thinking of getting a stroker kit, but im getting mixed messages about it

do you want a blown motor or a n/a motor....if you go blown have add forged internals, and blower cams, and stage 2 heads. go with a centri blower and your set. but if n/a i say go 302 stroker and stage 3 heads and cams + 150 shot.

Sand, huh? You wouldnt have happened to try and port and polish by sandblasting, would you?

i dont think im going to blow it becasue my parents arent going to let me but im thinking stroking it to a 302, i got pi heads and im looking at some cams for them then just do intake and other top end stuff

Look for a 4.6 crown vic motor u cna get them for cheap....
