Today, i purchased my first supercharger for the 02 stang. I ordered forged internals, and vt stage 2 heads and cams, and now, the supercharger to top it off. Of course i went to kenne bell and they recommended the 2.1L. Cant wait to get this stuff installed!! might try to get all of it done by next monday and get it tuned and on the dyno. Will have numbers shortly.

Couple questions though. The thing is "internally oiled" so how do i change the oil on it, and do i need an intercooler

Where did u order you kenny bell from.? I would recomend a intercooler but i thought they came with 1...

when you say forged internals, what exactly do you mean? did you buy a pre-built block or do you plan on ripping yours apart and sending it off to a machine shop with the goodies?

my brother owns his own mechanic shop and he prefabs alot of stuff, they do p&p too but usually for obscure hard to find parts like hot rods he said if i brinh my car to his shop, he will help me rip the sob out, and redo the bottom. and i ordered it through a shop out here... 702 motoring

Man u should c any where from 500-600 to the wheels.Thats one bad gt there congrate on the new parts

I have the KB 1.7 and I change the oil in the SC every other oil change. Maybe a bit often, but I am on the cautious side.

BUT, I've been thinking a lot about forging out my bottom end and ordering a 2.1. Now that I'm divorced, I can do whatever the hell I want!

Yea, like nanaki said... your gonna max out your fuel pump before you see 500-600 rwhp. What all supporting mods do you have to go with it? I hope you have some suspension parts too cuz your gonna wanna put it to the ground... notspinning the hell out of it or ripping your clutch out.
