Default emissions test

hey everyone, i need some assitance. my 2000 GT has long tube headers a prochamber midpipe from mac and the 2.5 to 3inch exhaust. to gaurantee the passing of the sniffer you should have cats. mine has high flow cats. if i was able to get ahold of a factory midpipe from a junkyard would this fit? i know the longtubes have the o2 extensions on them but i dont think the headers would cause a failing just it not having cats. also if i found an aftermarekt midpipe with cats on it, will it pass. im living in california and need to pass this test when it comes up. i know theres a visual inspection that can be overlooked but the emissions one is all hooked up electronically. i just dont want to fail. thanks for everyones time and help

Default RE: emissions test

From what I understand, anything with LT's wont pass the visual portion of the inspection. At least, that's how it is in CA. Where do you live?
