i just want a sick looking and sick sounding GT thats a little faster than a stock one. im almost there
Thats what im going for with this car.... Because i know that i will never be happy with the automatic and i wont be satisfied until i have a cobra.... But i might as well have some fun with this while i have it
try having a V6 Auto and not enough money to mod. . and i won't be satisfied until i entirely rebuild a V8 Mustang with my bare hands. i mean every single part and panel would be re-done or upgraded somehow. and i want to do the body work and paint. i already know how to do audio stuff so i got that covered. bolt-ons are easy. but i mean i want to tear the engine and tranny and rear-end apart by myself. then tune it on MY OWN DYNO in MY OWN SHOP. yeeeea i aim high i know. you don't go to college for nothin.
you guys complain about having an auto when we get to do things people driving standard wont be able to do=P... all those times driving around town and eating fries! not rolling backwards into a douche that stopped too close to you.. heh anyways our auto's in stock form are garbage, get a good torque converter and shift kit and you'll love the auto=P I can't wait till I chuck this POS tranny for a lantech auto

heh, I kept my car as stock as I could on the exterior with a few exceptions. 1) fake scoops are retarded, so i have bullit sidescoops 2) as soon as I find a good replacement for the fake hood scoop then that will be gone, 3) our cars should have come with painted mirrors, chin spoiler, and an option to get rid of the damned honey combs in the back.

I have noticed on these forums, that most of the posts are about modding this or that on the cars. ( not that this is a bad thing), but I also noted that most folks who are looking for a Mustang, are looking for a pretty much stock unmodified car. I was just wondering how many on these forums have & want to keep their cars mostly stock, & enjoy them that way.

Some people say you shouldn't ever buy a car that has been modified cause it hasn't been taken care of... IMO thats bs.

I take alot better care of my car than lots of people with stock mustangs. The full synthetic doesn't stay in more than about 2500 miles, its constantly garaged, almost never sees rain, and the closest it gets to snow (or the salt covered streets afterwards) are what it can see out the garage door.

Mods add virtually nothing to the value of a car (the bank doesn't care) which is what really boggles my mind... you would rather pay full price for a stock car than a modified one?

Lets think of it this way... you own a stock 99-04 GT and wreck it and the insurance company gives you the 10K or whatever its worth... you wouldn't buy my car for the bank value of around 10K?

Got over $12,000 in mods, I am almost finished. Another $3000 and I should be done.
