lol F that i wouldnt let my car get below 1/4 of a tank, but does yalls mustangs stay on full for like a day then drop really fast outa know where...i hate that
I know what you mean, its weird. After 12-20 miles, it goes from full to 3/4 tank. And i'm like WTF?
This is because the FULL mark where the pump reads full is only about 3/4 of the way up the tank. You actually fill past that point by 3 gallons or so. This makes the 3 gallons seem like you go forever because the needle doesn't register a drop because the fuel hasn't got to that point yet. It's all relative also. When it finally drops to where the pump reads full it seems like it drops fast, but only drops as fast as it has been the whole time! I have a 97 with no light and I drove my car half a day with the needle right on E. When I put gas in it I filled up with 6 gallons and it went up to 3/5 of a tank so there was def. enough fuel in there on E. I NEVER fill my tank all the way up. It sags my suspension and it handles like crap. I'm out there hot doggin 90% of the time and can notice a diff. from full to 1/2!!!
