What gear oil do you use?? I put the wrong stuff in!
Iaccidentally grabbed75w-90 weight oil. I put Mobil 1 Synthetic in. Cost me $9 per qt. I read in the manual it says to use 75-140. I would hate to waste it and had everything all cleaned up in there dammit! Will I break shhstuff if I keepthat oil in. I only drive on nice days and no more than an hour at a time. I put 1500 miles on last year and will do about maybe a little more this year! Thanks

No, 75w90 is just fine. Most people here on MF do it, I opted for 85w140 however, as the thick weight when cold was important (and royal purple only had 75-90 and 85-140)

Thanks Guys... I was thinkin about it and it had me little worried. At first I was like...hmmmm I should be just fine. Heck that's what My Z-28 called for what the heck is the diff.!!!! I woulda hated to wasted $25 of oil. Not to mention sucking it out cuz I wasn't pulling that cover off again! You guys think I should change the oil after maybe 2kmi with the new bearings and gears???
