looking back, it really is amazing how parents can influence us. seeing 5.0 mustangs when we were 6 or 7 years old, and look at us now. gt, i miss my old truck too even if the 3.9 stunk when i had to shift to 3rd to go uphill from vegas to barstow. it felt "homey" the stang feels empty but it is gorgeous

My First experience with a Mustang was when my Mom bought a 84 LX (4cyl) It was white with a Red interior. I thought it was the coolest car ever at the time[&:]. What I thought when I saw my Current Mustang was what a POS it's not at all like he described in his eBay auction but I just drove 8hrs to get it with my Fuel pump going out on my truck 1/2 way there but I wasn't gonna drive home empty handed. Now I have double whats it worth into it and don't regret any of it

My first experience in a Mustang...the day I test drove my current GT[8D]

Oh wait...I take that back. When I was in college I drove my buddy's 97'ish 6er around the parking lot. I didn't like it, and that car almost turned me off of Mustangs

my first experience with a mustang was with fizzics boy's old v6... then I was introduced to a kid named welsh with a black 01 GT... and well... it was enough to sway a chevy guy to sell his old 77 corvette and buy a 04 GT.

First time I really got into the stangs:
Was going through my ignorant days where I was first looking for a car and looked at neons, civics, etc
Then somehow ended up at the ford dealer looking at the Foci's (lol? Focuses?) and got a brochure for the stangs.
I looked and saw a chart with the V6, GT, and Cobra lined up and top of each other and I always wondered what
the difference was between the 3. I looked very closely and justified that it was only the hood and spoiler and wheels.

What got me into stangs:
Too be absolutely honest, Gone in 60 Seconds.

First time I got one:
2002 V6 laser red automatic. I thought I was the fastest kid in the world. Having that stang really set me off..though I knew it was pretty damn slow I still felt like something else. And ever since I put my *** in a Mach 1, I wouldn't have it any other way.

The mustang crew is like family, we have some kinda thing in our brains when we drive by each other on the roads to give a quick glance and a thumbs up. Seeing older 'vet' (not corvette) drivers give you a look and wave to an 18 year old with a respected vehicle is truly something else. Aw...good stuff.

I first started to notice NE GTs and thier bad-*** looks around 2003. The deal breaker came in 2006 when I was at work and a guy brought his yellow 2000 Spring Edition vert GT. I was hooked solid. I went out a few weeks later looking for a very specific car that met ALL my requirments and I wasn't going to settle. I just happened to find the perfect car at a tent sale my first time looking. Silver, full options Mach, leather, premium rims, 40th anniversary badges and the topping on the cake: Traction Control delete from the factory. On the test drive I had the wheel turned slightly and did a 2,500RPM drop off the line and spun the car in a 360' in a parking lot surprising the crap out of the salesman and my buddy and frankly myself (I though it was just going to burn a bit and take off). A few mins later I was nearing the top of third gear at about 110MPH on the freeway. I was sold no two ways about it. I got a horrible 12.5% interest rate on it because of some divorce and other financial issues and I'm currently paying out the *** ($21k payoff, $440/month) for a car thats not worth more then 17,500. It really doesnt matter to me though because its EXACTALLY what I was looking for. I figure I might re-finance later, but as of right now I don't car how much it costs because I have the time of my life when I'm tooling around in it.

My dads friend had a 95 or 96 corbra, first mustang i ever rode in a mustang even though they were my favorite car. He took me for a ride (I was about ten or so), and all i remeber is how he was slammin through the gears and how fast his feet were goin. (First time i ever rode in a manual car) Took me out and lite up the tires, and we were goin sideway into oncomin traffic. LOL i loved it. Thats what inspired me to get my stang, it anit a cobra, but its got a V8. He latter bought a C5 Z06, and took me for a ride in that to. Danm that car is fast.

My mom had a 1980 v8 mustang. I was born in 83, and remember it when I was a baby.
