Everyone must remember...the GT's small block can't compete with a big block. butt fugly car...

you want high performance, good looks and a good price, you can only get 2 out of the 3

the first couple years they came with the 5.7 putting 350 at the crank.. the final years they put the 6.0 liter in and it made 400 hp to the ground. 400hp for 32000 is alot more cost effective that a cobra, gt or mach 1. not to mention it would smoke any ss or ws6 on the road... while the ss and ws6 smoke us gt's
Wtf are you smokin'? "More COST EFFECTIVE than a Cobra?" How much power will a pulley swap and a tune get you on a Goat?

The styling is less exciting than my grandmothers 88 Oldsmobile and they are in severe need of a diet...

that 6.0 is a wicked motor, but the body of the car is all rice.

the guys at LS1 Tech have been trying to find the average max HP the stock bottom end of that motor can take, and right now, it's about 500 hp.

2 guys at work own them, one has a few "mods" (turbo, heads, turbo cam, nitrous, custom PCM), and I'd say that it will blow the socks off of pretty much anything on the road.

all that being said, I'd still take a Mustang. it's all about style, and right now, Mustangs have the best

I do believe the 05+'s made 400 to the engine not the rear wheels.

I saw one the other day pulling through the parking lot of pontiac dealership. I think there a beautiful car and i think it had flowmasters on it and it sounded amazing (just as good or better than any mustang ive heard)

They are fast but they dont look/feel like a sports car... I was going to buy an 05 but after i test drove it it just didnt feel right...
I also drove one before I bought my Mustang. It was Silver with Red interior, loved the looks! The Mustang, in my opinion, was much more fun to drive. I ran an 06 just for kicks, I think we all know how that turned out!
