I have an Autometer Sport comp w/ shift light and really like it. You do have to tap to the computer to wire it up but, that isnt too bad. Def. get the shift light, it is really nice.

In fact, do you want to buy mine. I will sell it to you cheap. Sport Comp 5" tach w/ shift light. PM if interested.

The first mod I put on my 00 civic si was a huge as tach, which was absolutely pointless. I just thought it was funny.

And +1 on the why not stock tach?

You can always add just a shift light. Ive seen some cool mods with that, like in the ac duct for instance.

You do know there is a tach right there in the dash right? Get a shift light and leave the huge pointless tachs to the honda guys.
