Default which tuner to buy

i want to buy a tuner. i have a 2001 gt vert. which one is best for these cars. Also should i just do it myself or is therea benefit to taking it to the shop to have it tuned.

The SCT XCal2 has a huge follwing and is a great product to use.
SCT has a new great looking Livewire that you can get a pod for and its suppose to be tune on the fly. Its a little more than $560 for it where the XCal is $300 something.


I had a Diablo on my truck and I hated the long tune times. 10-15 minutes to tune your vehicle is stupid. SCT is suppose to be way faster. Otherwise I like my diablo.
