Hey everyone. As I recenlty posted, I am treating myself to a 2004 Mustang GT 5speed for a college graduation gift to myself. I had an 88gt a while back and it's time for another one.

My question here is what can you guys suggest for me to be the first things to invest in for my mustang. I want to get exhaust for sure but what recomendations would you give me. I want it loud and deep so everyone knows a true muscle car.

Also, what would be some other first upgrades for me to buy. I am so excited to get this and I know I have come to the right place to ask for help and suggestions. Thank you very much for you time in helping me get prepared for one hell of a summer.[8D]

Start with gears. Best noticable gain for the $$$
Then lower it and do the exhaust.
I would have to recommend flowmaster or any chambered muffler with an aftermarketH pipe.

What gears would you recommend? I noticed that you have Flow's 40's, is that the loudest that they make. How does your stang sound? Thanks for the help spro

Buy a used Vortech. Theres not any other mod that will give you near the results(aside from nitrous). If I had another 99-04 GT, I wouldnt spend money on anything else until I purchased that.

I would do at least FRPP 4.10`s.

That sounded fantastic. I love that sound and the setup you have. That is what I am looking for. From the video it sounded nice inside the car. How is it inside for you? Do you wish it was louder or quieter or is that the perfect sound for your ears.

Thanks. Inside the sound is fine. Really don`t need it any louder than it is. Right around 2K rpm`s it is the loudest (drone) but it doesn`t bother me at all.
I live up in Mc Henry county.

Got ya. I live in Chicago in Cook County. Im about 3 miles west of Midway. Can you tell me your exact set up for exaust brand and type? Do you have headers or a off road x pipe?

What is the differnece between the 2-chamber and 3-chamber for the Flow's? which is louder? Thanks
