Junkyard, or go buy one from auto zone, if it doesn't fix it, take it back.

I am not really sure if there is a backyard way of doing it. I am fortunate enough to have a NGS here in my garage. With the NGS you can look at all of you pids and see what there doing in real time. But I don't think that is going to do you any good cause if I am not misstaken they were only availible through Ford dealerships service departments. If you know anyone that has access to one that works for a Ford store have them borrow one and look at that pid and you should be reading about .98 volt at idle. Every MAF sensor that I have see gone bad is reading 1.5+. Don't know if that helps?

well I havnet had time to troubleshoot the other issues we discussed but the problem just got worse. Now as soon as I hit th throttle (not hard, just feathering gas and clutch off the line) it will raise in rpm slightly, then instantly try to die out, RPMs drop really low (trying to stall out) so I have to let go of the gas and it will go back to a idle wich becomes lumpy at times.

Try and unplug the maf sensor and put it into a fail safe mode. If that make a huge impact then spend the $$ for a maf.

I really wish someone had suggested this earlier!!! Went out this morning, unplugged the mas air, BOOM!! Instant power gain..... I would say thats probably it considering I could barely move before and now its spinning tires. Thanks alot, I am going to buy a mass air as soon as I get the money. One last question though... For right now, besides being really fuel inefficient, is there any reason not to drive it?

Thanks again.
