Default professional products or any intake

who on here has a typhoon intake manifold or something simular. NOT THE FOX LAKE P51. i was thinking about going to a new intake manifold. will i notice a big differance? or should i buy the tuner first? i know with the intake manifolds you lose low end torque but when you race your rpms are all in the high end.

those that have one are they really worth it? or should i just keep my stock intake manifold.

Google around.
The reviews on it have mostly been saying it's not worth it (being gentle here).
Made in China I believe.

The only thing you would be gaining is the metal should handle a lot more boost (say NO2) than the POS stock plastic one.
There are better alternatives out there IMHO.

Didn't Edelbrock come out with a model recently?

I think there was a recent thread on this board.

THR has the hardball'r intake. The new trick flow should be shipping fairly soon. The dyno numbers looked good on that. Why not the p51?

i just got the hardball'r on my car. its a great intake, install was very easy and it fit really well right out of the box. as for power it feels like it pulls a little harder in the middle of the rpm's. this could be becasue i fixed a miss and got a 93 octane tune. but i am very happy with it

willyd465 with the hardball'r intake you can still run stock fuel rails right. i know with the p51 you cannot.

i got mine becasue i cracked the stock intake and i know in the future i will be going with some sort of forced induction set up. one thing i forgot to mention about the hardball'r intake was that the passenger side mounting holes for the fuel rail were a little off so i redrilled new ones and tapped them, bout a 5 minute extra job so they fit better
