I can barely sit back there, much less get action. lol. I would delete mine for the simple fact that my backseats are worthless as far as seats. Sooner or later when I find a decent looking delete I plan on doing it.

Pretty sure they aren't gonna differ much, and I would probably remove thoe rear seat belts and get a custon sub/amp box to make it look pretty nice...
Also some nice leather racing seats.

I agree that the rear seats are useless in these cars. I built my own delete out of 1/2" mdf and wrapped it in black vinyl. It looks way cleaner than the stock seats, and it did cut a bit of weight. I don't have the exact weight figures on hand, but I believe I netted a 30 - 35 lb weight loss. Plus, now I don't have to stretch out to reach to open my bottle, I mounted it in the rear passenger seat area. Easy access to the bottle, clean looking, and it gives the car a custom touch. Unless you have to have the seats in the rear for passengers, I say take em out.

A few reasons for rear seat delete's

1). The rear seats are useless, you can't fit an adult in there comfortable for the life of you
2). Putting a cage into your stang makes them even more useless
3). Weight savings, yeah its 20-30lbs, but if your saving weight, every bit helps
4). Sell them for mod money.

How hard is it to "delete" your seats? I mean how easy is it to get them out and does it unbold/detach, or is it one of those break it to fix it deals?

Looked at how easy it was to remove and gave it the thought that when losing weight 30lbs IS 30lbs. Seats have been Deleted[8D]. Removed the backrest and frame but after some consideration left the actual seats. Now I just need to add a Delete for the backrest and its good. Probably removing the seats later but considering its just foam I might leave them. Updating with pics ASAP!

Actually a rear seat delete does save about 30-40 lbs. There is absolutely no point to the back seat unless you are about three feet tall. Here is my rear seat delete and I thnk it looks pretty good and is great for car shows.
