i bought my outfit used off a friend for $1800 with only 3k miles on the blower...it makes insane power right away and is pretty useless because i still have 4.10's and go no where....i really need to step down to 3.73's or 3.55's.....i have yet to take it to the track but the guy that had it was pulling off high 7's in the 1/8th with an auto vert making only 39X rwhp...with my setup (im also an auto) and maybe the addition of a stall i hope to go 11's......nothign beats the thing for "fun factor" its INSTANT boost and instant power

You can get a non-IC and be OK at low boost. However, you are already spending a grip of money... why not just pop for a bit more and do it properly the first time. It will save you the headache of pulling the TC back off to slap an intercooler on later.

1.7 KB IC....if i drive it out of boost the gas mileage stays the same...when ur not at WOT there is a bypass so its not in boost. With the KB's your boost comes from throttle position, not engine revs...thats another plus....in other words u could be cruising down the thruway at 80 at 2500 rpm's and not be in boost
