ive heard a few straight piped 4.6's and they dont have near the tone that one w/a catback they sound more like a truck than a mustang

I just got ride of my 95 Gt I took out the muffs and had a shop put in pipes to replace them. All they charged me was $49.00. I thought it sounded pretty good, that was a 302 though. If the 4.6 has 4 cats like the 302 I dont think it will sound that loud at all. I drove mine for 3 years with no muffs and never got pulled over once, but is was an auto and had factory 4 cats. I have a 99 gt now with magnaflow after cat and I think it is almost louder then my 95.
