Default RIP stock motor. What now?

Well, I over reved the s** t out of my car last weekend. It lost a cyclinder so I checked the plugs. The first cylinder on the drivers side wasn't firing. I took the plug out and the bottom of it was completely melted off. I checked the compression and it only has 60 lbs. So I've either got a cracked piston or I blew the compression ring. Since I have the supercharger the cylinder was firing while I was driving because the charger boosts the cylinder pressure up to 210 lbs under boost so I didn't know there was anything wrong until I let the car drop down to an idle. Anyway, it's time to go forged so I need some suggestions. Anyone got any brand names of some good parts? I'm not going to go cheap on this because I only want to do it once.

Thanks, anyone else? How about some of you guys that have forged bottom ends? What brand and how do you like it? How long have you had it? Thanks in advance.

Ouch sorry to hear about your car man. I overreved my car once or twice and it hit the limiter., I'm so glad nothing bad happened. If I were running boost I probably would of done some major damage.

The guys at the shop think it may be a valve problem as well. I'll find out some more info tomorrow.

well you've got to disassemble the top end to get that head off anyways right? so why not just forge the bottom end while you've got it in pieces

You got a link for THR? I've called DSS, CHP andLivernois and I like what DSS has told me so far. I've got 7,500 dollars to spend so I might go all out with a long block. I don't know yet, I just don't know what I want to do. I can get the engine warrantyed but what's the use? It's just going to blow again one day.
