RE: 90k miles???
hes asking 8500, ill probly offer him 8, which still I dont think is very bad by any meens because the new edge verts hodl their value wayyy better then the coupes or older stangs, I was just wondering if theres any problems, other then engine and trans, that starts to mess up around that mileage

they are alot cheaper, but once a car gets >4 years old, it's like the damn gremlins come out of hiding. if you've got the means to get somehting newer, I'd suggest that.
on a 99 Vert, I'd be worried about the power windows, door locks, transmission if it's an A/T, clutch and second gear if it's a stick, the door seals, and especially the motor for the top. take the car up to about 80-90 mph and see if it shakes/rattle, then do a little street driving and see how she idles and how the brakes feel
another indication that the car is beat upon is the tires. look at the rear ones and see how much tread difference there is between them and the fronts. also, most people don't notice, but if you do alot of burnouts, the rubber will get slung under the rear fender. I'd find it quite suspicious if the rear tires look brand new, or if all 4 tires are brand new. tires ain't cheap, but some shady people will spend a little money to hide something
raise and lower the top 2-3 times and inspect how it fits when fully raised. nothing is worse than a leaky vert top in ****ty weather.
