ORIGINAL: slow99GT

My friends TA runs 11.8 N/A.. 12.00 on street tires (N/A)..just my 2 cents
NOT co-worker has an 03 T/A that ran12.2-12.5 N/A with heads/intake/cam/full exhaustand tune using slicks.

since he put the turbo on, he's running low 11's consistently and will be in 10's once he drops some wieght to offset the wieght of his cage. and he learns to quit picking the front end up off the line

the LS1 is an amazing motor, but you've got to spend money on it. just like our 2v's. The LS1 just reacts better to mods. A blown 4.6 will easily match a LS1 that is modded.at that point they're putting out the same hp #'s, and it becomes a drivers race. deosn't hurt that the Mustang is lighter than the Camaro and T/A

ive raced at least 10 Ls1's (never beaten)and they arent that fast compared to a s/c stang. Just because its an "LS1" and "Everybody has One!", doesnt mean that gives it 50 extra hp. a 350whp T/A will get pulled on by a stang putting out the same hp or more. Our cars are lighter anyways. They only have a better setup for drag racing. All we need is sticky tires that hook and rearend upgrades then you will kill them!

Oh and I wasnt spraying! I havent been, thats waiting till I beef up the internals:D
