Some true A$$hole hit my car in a home depot parking lot,,, When I came out to that I can't even explain the feeling, so believe me, I know how you feel, it sucks bad, doesn't it? ( I wasn't trying to jack your thread, just share your pain) It was fun beatin' the hell outta a rental car for a month though, my insurance covered everything and my body guy made it so I didn't have to pay my deductible. It was so bad, I even got a new rear end cause the axle got tweaked, this was all a year ago, now it looks like this
[IMG]

If you look really close you can see the silver is slightly darker on the lower rocker panel compared to right behind the fron wheel, but silver is a tough color to match, I think he did a great job.
P.S. Can someone tell me how to embed a picture without the [IMG] tag showing up
your front caliper is painted but your rear isnt?

Well i figure someone could just be driving behind me and get the plate? So whats the difference between that and someone on the internet doing that?
It's just a good practice to avoid any potential stalkers.
It's pointless and the little extra you have to do is too much too do to edit every picture.
The day something happens to someone from people getting their plates over the internet, is the day I'll shut up about it.

Any potential stalkers won't be looking for people's liscense plates on the internet, if anything, they will be going around their own area looking for people there, so if anything I should drive around with a sheet over my liscense plateso the stalkers won't see it.

Not trying to be a dick, I just don't get it.

Hope it gets fixed soon. BTW - it's a good idea to bur or black out your lic plate #'s when posting pics...
Why? I never understood that
+1 i mean honestly, what's your expectance of privacyfor a license plate? I never black mine out either. Doesn't make sense to me.

sometimes I do it... but like... if someone wants to single me out, and come find me... let em.

I'll be waiting.

SVTBILL, My rears are painted too, I just haven't cleaned them since last year and they collected a lot of brake dust when I had my snow tires and rims on there

1 if you ever street race somewhere which half this board does, the cops could potentially see your car and plate on here.
2 more people look on this board and see those pictures than people driving behind you. and they are not driving a car when they see the pictures so it'd be easier to write down/remember. also you dont have to be a member to view this site

Oh, I usually black out my plate too, my reasoning is that if someone on the board wants to be an *** they can call the state police in your state and say you were driving recklesly or something, it's a long shor but you never know,,
yet you have a rear shot of your car in your sig, which is in every post you make, not just the ones you post pics in lol.[8D]
