ment 275 up there. i have 275's in the front. the only rub when the wheel is hard over and the suspension has to move other than that no issues. proably over kill for the front but i have cobra rims and that is all they came in

lol i have the 17x8's on my mach and i have 315 bfg comp T/A drag raidials ont he back. yes it is pinched liek ****. but it still looks bad *** and still has all the same traction. i didint even have to take off the quad shocks or anything. they jsut fit on perfect. but going around any turn with any speed ata ll the car sways alittle

whats the widest tire to put on the back of stock 17x8 to get the best traction on turns and to come out of drifts and stuff, would 275 be too big, because im getting tires , and i canyon run and stuff with my friend sometimes so im trying to get the best traction for turning etc...

what? a 315 on an 8" rim - I don't know how you got em to fit but Im sure you don't have a very good contact patch... I bet the contact patch on my 245's are better than yours.
