Default Aluminized or Stainless

I am looking at purchasing a mid pipe soon. I have a 98 GT with Magnaflow catback on it. I think I'm leaning towards an offroad and I want my car to have a deep muscle tone to it. I'm not sure which brand I am looking to go with to pair with my cat back, but I am just wondering what the main difference between aluminized and stainless steel is? Is there going to be any difference in sound or is it just that stainless lasts longer? My car is stored for winters and gets very few miles in anything but nice weather so I'm just wondering which would be the best bet. Thanks in advance, I appreciate any insight!

Depends on how long you wanna keep your car.... If your gonna keep your car longer than 5 years then I say go with the stainless. If not then go with the Aluminized. Also Aluminized has a little more of a raspy sound...

id say go with the aluminized one since its probly also cheaper. Its just a midpipe, so ull be all right. Ive had my aluminized x pipe for almost two years now and i drove it year round and not a single rust spot.

Its all a matter of your budget aluminized pipes not mufflers will probably last the life of your car.
