Issues later on?

If anything is wrong on the install it'll appear the moment he drives off with the car.

It's really not the hardest install. There is just a lot of assembling labor, little bit of cutting too...

I do have a question for those of you that say to get a torque converter. I want the 5-spd for fun. If I get a converter, want i have to run drag's to get traction? I really want to keep normal tire's on my car.

They will help...

But with a5 speed you'll need sticky tires for good traction, even with a fairly stock car.

If your ride is paid off, trade it in for an 03/04 Cobra. I'm sure you'll get atleast $8,000 or more for your GT, then subtract that off of a $26,000 Cobra, you'll be financing about $19,000-$20,000 depending on interest rate and what not and could have yourself a $300 car payment for a S/C Cobra with a 6spd manual.

Its great to have a TKO, but your NUTS to do this swap, espcially at that price.

5200 bucks is enough for, like someone already said, a completely sweet setup on your auto and a blower. There won't be anybody "jumping out ahead" of you with that setup.

I think you would be BLOWN away by the difference in feel if you did a stall/gears/cooler and then a programmer for your transmission. 5300 bucks to go what, maybe .1/.2 faster in the 1/4?

In any case, i would put up a stalled/programmed auto against the average stick driver any day of the week, and it is sure as hell alot more constistant.

BTW, if you can tell me its not "fun" to have a 400+ WHP car with an auto... you need to check your pulse.
