need help guys, trouble codes !!!
 

I keep on getting these trouble codes :

p1729 4x4l switch
p1443 evaporative emissions system control valve (low or no flow)

I tried calling ford but they didn't really want to help me (surprise). I erase them with my predater and they come back usually after a couple days to a week.

Does anybody know what they mean and how to fix it? Thank you.

I'm not sure about the P1729, but theP1443 code on mine required the replacement of the emmisions control valve, $26.00 at NAPA. There is a TSB on some other ford vehiecle throwing an erroneous P1729 code.

hey... just replied over at sn95fourms... But anyways, you will find it coming off the back of the intake plenum and it will be close to the firewall... It's black and has a connection running into it and 2 hoses..
