MGW is what i reccommend along with about 90% of people on here. It is easy to install and is about 10 times better than stock. Its well worth the money!

Dude super easy to put in, and a major improvement over stock. I can't tell you witch one is the best but I bought a Tr-Ax Steeda cause the guy at the Mustang shop near me said he has tried them all and this one was the best.make sure you adjust the stops as the instructions show and the 2-3 shiftwill beso fast and no harm to the shift forks.

Simple to install, just follow the directions and take your time. I have MGW and it's great. Customer service is excellent and the fit and finish of the actual shifter is a sight to behold. Most all the tools you need are included with the kit. Don't forget to get the inner dust boot, it will make things quieter.

Driving is a totally different experience with a short throw shifter. You cannot compare a short throw to the stock POS. Stock shifter is sloppy, long, and just feels very dull and unresponsive to spirited driving. Shifts with a short throw are firm, positive and short, and missing a gear is near impossible unless you willfully try to misshift. Driving the car hard is especially easy because you can shift so much faster and harder without having to worry about anything. Barking 3rd gear is alot easier w/ a short throw. You feel like you are driving a sports car with a short throw shifter.

If you have an '02 GT you have the Tremec 3650 transmission. I would go with either Steeda Tri-Ax, or MGW. I went with MGW because it's quieter than the Tri-Ax.

people really need to learn how to use the search button... cuz everyday there is at least one question about a short throw shifter, headers, and exhaust

If you havent noticed everone on this site will preach about Mgw. I have driven with both mgw and steeda, and they are both really nice, but I wouldnt trade in my steeda for nothing
