I have a 97 Cobra. It has a Vortech supercharger with an aftercooler. I need some suggestions on an aftermarket Throttle Body. I’m all ears! Thanks in advance!

whatever is on sale. i got more power (2RWHP) from the MAC over the accufab, but the accufab looked nicer so i kept that. you're only gonna get 5-8RWHP anyway.

accufab will give you the most gain especially since your on boost.

and excessive motorsports took the pepsi challenge. i got 8RWHP / 10RWTQ from a MAC tb/plenum. they had an accufab they gave me at cost to see how much better it would be. it put down 5RWHP / 10RWTQ. chris tweaked the tune and got 6RWHP out of it.

i'm sorry i don't believe articles written by the manufacturers or reviewers on the company's payroll. i'll take first hand experience any day.

im running accufab N/A until i install my 2.3 kb this weekend, and i didnt feel any gains, only felt better throttle response... i knew a tb and plenum wouldnt give me much gain so i went for the visually best tb

yeah, i did the same thing. i felt the throttle response on my car, but the accufab looked purdy. i broke even after i sold the MAC anyway since i got the accufab at cost.

i can't stand the people that say you'll get big gains from a tb/plenum on an already blown vehicle. [:-]

yeah, people dont understand, that when you buy a throttle body/plenum combo, if you expect gains you will be disappointed. then people misinterpret the throttle response as more horsepower. i did it to get to make the gas pedal crisp, and im combo with my 4.10 gears, i consider it money well spent. if i gained any hp from the tb/plenum its just topping on the cake, cause i did it for the throttle lag
