u must have never driven around with an open exhaust. i had my 93 lt1 firebird and ran it open at the y-pipe which is right under the passanger seat and it was like a damn stock car..... soooo loud anything over 1200rpm was almost unbearable. even with the cutout at the track you could feel your whole body vibrate it was so loud

ok..joke..for one, for two ive prob delt with more cars and trucks with exausts..or lack there of then you have in your lifetime, belive me

open exhaust is definetly too loud, if you really dont want to wait, you can put the catback on first then do the x pipe.... and tickets sucks but i just pay the fine and move on...

im 20 so take my age for whats it worth, i used to work at an exaust shop when i was in highschool, and between all my cars and my freinds cars ive seen just about everything with and without an exaust..get it..like just screwin around, gee lets start up this truck now that it has nothing but open headers..or manifolds haha or whatever

Ahh you see thats why you think louder is better! You wouldnt have to deal with it driving to work everyday.. Or taking a girl out and having to shout to her.. Or leaving late at night or early in the morning and getting the cops called on you!

gees it was a joke..just a joke..i know driving around with no exaust is not a good idea and is obnoxiously loud..ok maybe i came off the wrong way haha

at that point you might as well just get long tube headers instead of the open mid pipe and just run open headers cuz running jsut an open mid pipe is illegal so you might as well go all the way
