Default Too Loud?

I was wondering with a Bassani O/R x pipe would be to loud cut off at the x?? I plan on getting the catback afterwards but was wondering if I could ride with x pipe on it by its self for a while. Thanks

Is the H catted? An open o/r x is gonna be loud. Especially inside the car I would think. Save up for the cat back first.

ROfl its funny you just asked that.

I just got done installing the rear springs and we took it for a ride like that. BBK LTs + BBK o/r X was insanely insanely loud... like no chance you will ever get thru town without being pulled over.

It sounded like a big block on steroids... but it was just too loud. I was worried about getting the cops called on me driving thru my neighborhood back to the garage

i've got 5 exhaust fix it tickets, its not worth the time of getting pulled over, then "fixing" it and then going to the police station and getting **** signed off on then delivering the ticket or mailing it in and all that.

only in some cases. if you've got a stock cam and **** like that straight up open exhaust usually sounds like **** unless you've got your foot all the way in the throttle. sounds ****ty letting off, usually when cruising and only has a decent sound in a certain part of the rpm range. i've been through all sorts of exhaust's on different vehicles. everything from long tube headers and 3" dual straight pipes on a 350 to manifolds and just cats, even a monte carlo with flows welded right to the collectors of the long tubes (bought it that way, wrecked it that way). unless you want to be a complete ******* and burn up a **** ton of gas....run full exhaust.
