Default Hey anybody ever heard of this?

Hey my friend has a Formula 1 Trans Am and was showing me this part he just got the other day. Said it controlled the exhaust or something so that he could turn the noise up or down, even had a switch that went in the car for it. Anybody ever heard of this before and do they make those for mustangs? Be great for these jerk *** cops around here.

I don't know what it is, I only looked at it for a second and he explained that one thing about it, how when he hit the switch something inside it moved and redirected the exhaust flow to the side or something, didn't really think about it till i got home.

yea sounds like his exhaust hasan electric valve that redirects it to mufflers or to cutouts.

Its an electric controlled exhaust cutout.... you can get them starting at about 160 dollars... I saw it in all the Hot Rod mags I have.. it justredirects it out before you get to the mufflerto stop restriction. Comes for any car... You just have to know what size your pipes are... www.quicktimeperformance.com
