Another Handling Question

RE: Another Handling Question
Basically I want the car to handle better and ride slightly better. Handling being the more important thing. Just for street driving. My friend has an RX8 which will obviously outhandle me, but I can take him in a straight line. My other friend is geting an S2000 and it is the same situation. I just want to be able to handle better. I also want some 4.10's and an MGW to go along with it.
Will that stuff be worth the $800? I don't wan tto spend that money and not notice anything.

RE: Another Handling Question
you will notice a little better ride, but you will still not be able to keep up with an rx8, I will be testing my current setup against a few termies and an rx8 thats in my car club as soon as I have it all together (front rear c/o's, phb, lca, and a ta). If however you want a better ride I would suggest the coilovers. Again if your looking for looks and slight performance increase go with what you've chosen up there, it's more cost effective to do what you are aiming for. Coilovers are an overkill for most stang drivers.

also worth is to be determined by you, to me I'd rather set my goal, and save up a little longer to buy the parts that are durable, long lasting, and that will benefit me more and get me closer to my goal. If what your looking for is looks/slightly better handling then yes it's worth it. If your looking for something that will make your car feel like its on rails then your gonna be dissapointed. Most people with eibachs or whatever will disagree with me, but that is personal opinion as well.
I don't like telling people to buy this or that but just give them my opinions, so in the end it's your car, mod it the way you want. If your looking for handling look elsewhere, most mustang forums have bad info. Become an educated buyer, you still have time to mod your car, take things slow and do things right the first itme.
