Default Densecharger???

Alrighty, I have a K&N airfilter (yippy) but I was wondering if I should get the Tunable Induction for $180.00 which replaces the factory intake tube with the green airfilter or get the C&L tube that just includes the tube but I already have the K&N so it would be the same thing right? and that costs $125.00. Either way I'm not getting the mass air,TB, and plenum until later so what do you guys think I should do?

and out of an entire intake how much hp does it add? does it make your exhaust rumble a little more?

You can hear the Cold Air intake from the inside of your car, because it makes this distinctive noise, and it makes your exhaust louder yes, but you really have to be listening for it. Densechargers are probably the best performing CAI on the market, but i went with BBK for its price and looks.

Can you define that in terms of HP? Someone is recommending I go with a Plenum/TB before a CAI due to the fact that a CAI has been shown to do next to nothing... guess I'm getting confused between fact and fiction, hype and HP.

^ You are correct. The plenum and throttle body combo does get you more power than a CAI which gets you next to nothing if you dont have any other mods. But if you do, the Densecharger will get you the best hp gains as you continue your modification.

Check out my set-up, nothing special, but I got great results, and I had never heard of a densecharger system. I live in a hole i suppose, all together I am very happy with the set-up.

no a GOOD cai = MORE hp than ANY plenum / tb combo... incuding accufab... I'll be my paycheck on it

neither one are big producers of hp - but a tb / plenum is the worst hp per dollar mod out there.
