Default shocks and struts

ok...there is so much debate about brands and quality, here is the situation. I have a '96 mustang gt and I am going to be lowering the car 1.5"-2". That being said, what brands are best for daily driving, just overall smoothness and quality ride? tokico, billstein etc?

sorry to dilute the board with so many suspension questions but as we all know its probably one of the weakest points of the mustangs.

thanks guys

im looking for an emphasis on obtaining a smoother ride through changing the suspension as well as having the handling improve over the stock suspension. what would you recommend for that?

My recommendation stays- I was amazed on how much my handling was improved with the Bilsteins! they are firmer than stock, and a little more rigid- but it definetly has a "sporty" feel to it.

everytime I see a post about shocks and struts, I picture the retarded brother from "something about mary" saying "shocks and struts! shocks and struts!" instead of "franks and beans! franks and beans!"[&:]

I enjoy my kyb agx. it's a lot of fun to turn the ***** and see how much it ruins the ride quality.
