Default A BOOK FOR THE IGNORANT?

Is there a book that can explain and elaborate on how to fix certain mechanical problems or give detail on the engines components for those who are about as ignornant to an engine as can be? There are some bugs that are needed to be fixed and I wouldn't mind learning myself.

More money but a lot more in depth would be a Ford Service manual for your car, good luck.

the two that i have heard about are Haynes and Chilton. they are both based on complete tear downs of the car with pictures and everything. a lot of ppl say they are worth the weight and price

also check out MustangWorld's How-To page... they have some pretty neat stuff on there that you could do yourself
