There is a Screen on your MAF facing the airbox. The gentleman said REMOVE IT. Mine is off too, because it can't be re-installed with my CAI. I've been always impressed with the Mustang's mileage, better than our '05 Escape with a 4cyl! BTW, depending on where you live, and the gasoline you have to use, makes a BIG difference as well. When I moved to Rural Virginia, from CT, I gained 4 MPG. My "rural" gasoline hasn't any emissions additives, it makes a big difference on MPG! On the hwy I can go 305 miles from full to a quarter tank! And, I fill up, I've used 9.5 gallons!

I used to get 28-30 mpg highway on my trips from NJ to FL when i had just boltons...after the p&p head/cams etc it dropped but i also don't drive it on long trips anymore.
