And on top of that the comment about not having ABS if you don't have TCS is incorrect as well. You can have ABS without TCS, you can't have TCS without ABS.
Not to mention if you ever lock up your brakes because you don't have ABS...you get stuck with flat spots in your tires [&o]

You can turn off the t/c in the tune guys........Not a big deal, this way you have the best of both worlds.My t/c is auto off every time i turn the key.I dont want to get caught with my pants down with north of 500hp to the wheels t/c sucks on my car.
Ok I had a 99 gt without TC(with abs). Now I have a 02 with TC(and abs)What is the disadvantage to leaving TC on? What about at the strip? If you are racing ,wouldn't TC be a good thing? Is all the power not getting to the road with it left on?

Uh no it didn't 99 and up had TC and it was strictly optional. I 'Built' my 00 V6 and made sure not to check the TC box. I don't believe there was a year 99-04 where TC was basic on the car. Even our own website lists it as an option on 04
