If you did not notice much difference, then you need a different midpipe. Is that a stock h pipe you have? If you want better sounds try a catted MAC pro chamber. A better catted h-pipe. Basically a different mid pipe then what you have now, cause that is what opens the sounds of whatever catback system you have.

I have a MAC catback system on mine, btw...

I thought the catted prochamber was discontinued? (maybe just on national backorder?)

It is tough to find, I heard it was out. I may have given false hopes, I thought it was available now. I am not going with a cated midpipe anymore, emission laws have been lowered here so I am getting the o/r pro chamber now anyway so for me it doesn't matter!

Heres some vids of a car with Flowmaster 40s and a stock h-pipe.

It's always better to here it in person, but this will give you a good idea of how it sounds.

ok well i am on a budget and all i did was chang the stock mufflers to magnaflow mufflers and it sounds stock i thought the mufler would have made it deeper and louder but sounds stock...any ideas what i should do to make it sound loud and nice with leaveing the cats on i already have h pipe
What size tip's do u have? Changing the tip is a cheap way to change your exhaust tone. I would suggest 3.5" - 4"

It is wierd that no one ever throws this out there......... Cut the rear cats off!!!!! You will get no CEL and your exhaust will go from a 4 to a 7 (loudness ten scale).

Trust me on this

^ That isn't loud enough for you?

If you want loud, get an O/r h with some lm1s and some lt's...that setup is so obnoxious and loud, I'll think you'll like it.
