Default 2001 GT for $5200.00 Rebuilt too good to be true???

Trying to get a car in the next week and ive got about 6500 to work with. I saw this car on the autotrader. It is a rebuilt title

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...amp;cardist=21

Would you guys buy a car with a rebuilt title? It has leather, 18 in. wheels, seems to be around 3000.00 lower than normal price. I have a good mechanic that can check it out before i buy it. What should he check for specifically?

sounds like a good deal to me. you'd pay probably twice as much for one with a clean title. definitely have it checked out though. how many miles?

I myself wouldn't ever buya rebuilt title. Too many horror stories of people buying them/fixing them up after they've been wrecked, even if it's minor, and things continuously not working right. Also, another thing to consider, is trying to resell it with a rebuilt title.

+1 on resale. if you do it, plan on keeping it!
