Unless you installed a Ford MAF (from a lightening for example) you should use the stocker, its good up until about 325HP. Non-Ford MAF's have a tendancy to fail more often and not work well with the stock computer.

Long story short, there is no reason to upgrade your MAF unless you are increasing airflow significantly (Forced induction), so just a CAI is no reason to replace it. I will bet that putting your stock MAF back in, resetting the computer (disconnect the battery and reconnect) will solve the problem.

What he said disconnect negative cable wait about 10-15 min. step on brake pedal then reconnect.
