Default Air intake

I just installed a MAC cold air intake with 85mm air metter. I rec. a service light and when I ran the code it said my engine was running lean. I was wondering if anyone else has had this pob. I cleared the code in hope that my car will adjust itself. But I was wondering if any one knew a good chip that I can buy that will add horse and adjust the prob.

I assume that's how they try to make power, by leaning out the motor with more air.

youll get more power with more fuel....if u run to lean u can seriously **** up your motor...if you run to lean for to long....youll eventually put holes in your pistons...NOT GOOD

If I'm not mistaken, the mass air meter has to be calibrated to the injectors you have in your car, or it will end up not running correctly.

Unless you installed a Ford MAF (from a lightening for example) you should use the stocker, its good up until about 325HP. Non-Ford MAF's have a tendancy to fail more often and not work well with the stock computer.

Long story short, there is no reason to upgrade your MAF unless you are increasing airflow significantly (Forced induction), so just a CAI is no reason to replace it. I will bet that putting your stock MAF back in, resetting the computer (disconnect the battery and reconnect) will solve the problem.
