Gears And Auto VS. Manual

I have heard from some of my Drag racing buddies that 3.73's are more for a 5-speed where as4.10' s are good for an auto...

Just wanted to see what everyone thought...

At least 4.10's for an auto. Now I wish it had 4.30's . I don't do much of highway mostly town so 4.30's would have been the best bet.
