Default Low End vs. High End power

Which mods contribute power throughout the rpm range and which ones are mostly at the top? I've seen some dyno graphs showing decreases in low end torque and power with some mods (in exchange for a higher top end). I'd rather have more power throughout the RPM range when making mods so I want to know what to avoid.
Thanks,
FS

anything making intake or exhaust paths "larger" would likely hurt low end (less air velocity) and increase top end (more flow), at least in relation to each other - stuff like larger exhaust, bigger tb or plenum

most mods though, if properly sized, would add BOTH torque and hp - maybe one more than the other though.

thats my $.03

Mods that will help throuout the rpm range would be mods that free up static power, like pullies or electric fans. Tuning your stang with some type of tuner or chip would also free up hp across the board. Oviously a blower does the same, especially a positive displacment blower. Like MD said, airflow based components can likely give you a tradeoff in top end for low end hp. You can also cheat a little with gears, to get you through the rpm's faster. Lightening your car will also have the same effect

undercarriage lights add 50 hp at the wheels throughout the rpm range

Is that Cold Cathode, Neon or LED?

Seriously though, what kind of numbers could I expect from:

Spec Billet Aluminum flywheel with lightweight option,
Aluminum Driveshaft Assembly?

For that matter, anyone recommend any lighter pulleys, better oils, or other things
that can help get rid of drivetrain hp loss.

If you do an aluminum flywheel, you really won't gain any hp. It will want to rev a tiny bit quicker, but its not tremendously noticable. Is it even worth doing? Probably not. Run a synthetic oil of your choice ( I prefer mobil 1) and it won't matter. Your pullies are about as light as they can be as well. From this point on your tune is the best way to get some more horses. It sounds like you already have it tuned from the previous owner, but you might be able to improve on it. Fine tuning adjustments could help. The question is how good is your current tune? That's where a dyno comes in, or a digital wideband for that matter.
