well, its more like a screech when I let off the pedal, I can hit it to the floor, it changes gears and everything, and when I let off the accelerator, it screeches, but it doesnt do it unless I lay on it pretty hard. I usually baby it, so its rare when I lay on it.

Yeah, if it's only happening when you are getting on it hard, it really soudns like a belt. Does it squeel if you rev your engine in neutral? If not, it really sounds like your belt is slipping under load..
