I wouldnt either ...motors making good power without it...Yeah,I gotta get some traction for some real e.t numbers myself...with good traction I'm figuring my e.t potential should be a good 12.40 or so...heck just shavin off 4 tenths in the 60(2.07-1.67)should net me those...

ok so i come on here post my times and i gotta get bashed bc i turned ONE pass that was in the 12s. and it was barley in the 12s. it was a 12.97. i had some good runs who cares i never said i was better than anyone else. i never said that. if you can show somewhere where i said i was better than someone else ill shut up. im sure if i ran on a warmer day yeah i wouldnt of got that 12.97 pass but the weather was 45-50 which was cold. it hooked good on some passes but it sliped.

and yes i do have eibach pro kit springs which did help my 60 foot.

zw99gt look at the 11th post
Nobody is questioning your 12 second run. It's your 1/8 mph that looks funny. I run 7.4's in the 1/8, yet only trap 89.xx. Granted my car will 60 foot in the 1.5-1.60 range, but like has been said MPH is direct relation to the amount of HP a car is making. Don't get mad because some people are questioning the 1/8mph on your run, some of us here have a TON of track experiance and can spot it when the numbers don't add up, but nobody is bashing you.

I am not sure, there could have been a problem with the timers. I can't say for sure but you do see where we are coming from right? I am looking at my timslip right now and my car ET'ed a full second quicker than your at every point (594', 1/8' 1/4 etc) but yet I ran the same MPH as you in the 1/8th. Like I said my car does 60 foot very well, but not that well.

Looking at these times there are a few things I noticed as well. Again don't think I am doubting you or picking things apart, just going by what I see. Cars that run 88-90 mph in the 1/8th are generally going to MPH 113-115 in the 1/4 and ET 12.2-11.7.

nope never been dynoed, and forgotto add moto blue underdrives and eibach pro kit.

looking over my slips ill list a few

60 foot--1.899
1/8 et----8.708
1/8 mph-85.45
1/4 et---13.335
1/4 mph-105.37

60 foot--1.943
1/8 et----8.815
1/8 mph-84.90
1/4 et---13.461
1/4 mph-104.9

60 foot--1.944
1/8 et----8.079
1/8 mph-88.04
1/4 et---13.182
1/4 mph-106.51
Look at these two runs (above and below). The 1/8 mile on the top run is 4 tenths better, yet the 60 foot is worse and 1/8th mph is near identical.

60 foot--1.892
1/8 et----8.469
1/8 mph-88.07
1/4 et---13.045
1/4 mph-106.29

60 foot--1.968
1/8 et----8.588
1/8 mph-88.11
1/4 et---13.176
1/4 mph-106.16

60 foot--1.893
1/8 et----8.535
1/8 mph-88.73
1/4 et---13.092
1/4 mph-106.85

60 foot--1.892
1/8 et----8.517
1/8 mph-86.12
1/4 et---13.114
1/4 mph-105.82

on some i was shifting around 6000-6200
and a few i was shifting around 5700-6000

Very good ETs- but IMO even your 1/4 trap is VERY high for your mods. In my old mach 1 that was dyno tuned at 304/325 at the wheels I would trap 106-107...and that should be about 40-50 more at the wheels then your car is putting down. Like I said congrats on the times...but something just isnt right about those traps.

there was a ws6 with mass air flow, lid, tune, eibach springs and a few more things i forgot and i was beating him every time. i was tuning the 13.182 and he was turning the 13.690. than we went again and i was turning 13.176 and he was tuning a 13.517.

there was a 01 stang with cold air intake, tb, plenum, long tube headers, under drive pullies, mickey thompson et street radials and a tune and i was beating him by a few thousanths. i was tuning 13.045 and he tuned a 13.210. than we went again and i turned a 13.114 and he tuned a 13.165. i mean my times are all ligeit. the tempature was at 45*-50*which makes the car run better but alot harder to hook up.

in a few weeks i think im gunna order some 3.73 gears or 3.90 gears and a tuner. try and get into the high 12s constantly
